PA/Secretary Edinburgh Salary Guide: £30K-£35K Fantastic Opportunity to be part of this ‘Buzzy, Fast-paced Commercial Property Agency’ in the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre. (Open Plan Office) Our client is keen to secure a Pro-active, Customer Focused, Confident and ‘switched on’ individual to be part of their Professional Team. The successful applicant will provide a high level of PA, secretarial, administrative, organisational services specifically for the Senior Partner. You must be extremely well organised, have strong communication skills and be a natural ‘multi-tasker’. This is a Super Varied role which would ideally suit someone who comes with a strong background as a Personal Assistant/Secretary. You’ll need good energy, have a proactive approach and thrive in a busy environment. The role ¨ Providing secretarial and administrative services to the Senior Partner. ¨ Reading Senior Partner’s (SP) email as it arrives and responding/taking action where appropriate, ensuring attachments are saved to relevant file where necessary. ¨ Gaining knowledge of the companies and projects SP is involved in and keeping abreast of what’s happening. Dealing with the Company Secretarial aspects of these companies. ¨ Generating correspondence on own initiative; client contact by phone and email ¨ Keeping diary up to date, arranging meetings ¨ Keeping contacts updated in Outlook and Tracker database ¨ Booking travel and accommodation ¨ Preparing monthly credit card spreadsheets for SP ¨ Researching projects on the internet ¨ Keeping SP’s Linked In profile updated ¨ Cover for Office Manager as required ¨ Assisting surveyors with goad plans, email marketing, preparing marketing particulars, marketing boards as required About you… • Confident, intelligent and think about what you are doing., • A good letter writer who pays attention to detail and accuracy., • Able to assimilate information quickly and take action where required., • Question things when you are unsure or if something doesn’t seem right, • Proactive rather than waiting to be told things, chasing things up to ensure tasks are completed. Skills • Excellent Microsoft office skills, • Excellent organisational skills and ability to effectively multi-task, • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, • Ability to work well under pressure, plan your work, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, • Adaptable and proactive, • Positive attitude, • Good team player Hours are 9 am – 5.30 pm with an hour for lunch.
