In this leadership capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing the region's purchasing strategy, driving sell-through performance, and optimizing inventory rotations for all product categories within the POP MART portfolio. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement you will act as the senior strategic lead for commercial planning, buying, launch execution, and lifecycle analysis. You will direct your team and work closely with HQ product development, Retail leadership, and Global Supply Chain to ensure that product buys and launches at the right time and stock remains healthy and profitable throughout each product’s life. Responsibilities Category Forecasting & Buying • Lead the Buying process of detailed sales and demand forecasts by SKU, tailored to category dynamics and market seasonality., • Consolidate commercial goals with bottom-up market data to build accurate, forward-looking category plans at a regional scale., • Maintain ultimate forecast integrity from pre-launch strategy through post-launch performance., • Design product assortments plans by implement the store size and business matrix Product Lifecycle Management • Own the procurement planning and sell-through monitoring of all launches, replenishments, and discontinuations, • Identify ageing stock risks early and command mitigation actions such as markdowns, reallocation, or liquidation proposals., • Dictate product exit timing and lifecycle decisions in partnership with Head of Merchandising and Retail leadership. Planning Governance & Market Coordination • Act as the senior category contact and strategic lead for country retail teams, BD managers, and HQ stakeholders., • Collaborate heavily with the Supply Chain team to ensure inventory flow and launch readiness align with warehouse and allocation timelines., • Lead and participate in S&OP, campaign planning, and cross-functional readiness meetings as needed. Reporting & Commercial Insights • Oversee and prepare executive dashboards and deep-dive reports to track category performance, sell-through, forecast accuracy, and stock risk., • Present high-level insights and strategic recommendations to the Head of Merchandising to support top-level decision-making and seasonal reviews., • Continuously refine department tools, systems, and planning templates to improve data clarity and usability across the region. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or above., • 8+ years of experience in procurement ,buying, category management, or commercial forecasting, with a focus on senior strategic ownership., • Solid background in managing high-SKU portfolios and supporting multi-country or multi-channel retail businesses., • Excellent analytical skills and comfort working with Excel; experience with planning systems or BI tools is a plus., • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to lead and influence effectively across functions and regions., • Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) Desirable but Not Essential • Experience in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or collectible goods., • Prior involvement in high-frequency product drops or trend-led categories., • Familiarity with regional vs HQ planning processes in international businesses., • Passion for youth culture, art toys, or the creative consumer space If you are excited to be part of POP MART’s journey and believe you have the skills and passion to contribute, click Apply Now and send us your CV.
