Facilities Coordinator Opportunity - Canning Town, east London The Role We are seeking a dependable and proactive Facilities Coordinator to take responsibility for the upkeep, security, and smooth day-to-day running of a school in Canning Town. This is a hands-on role involving a wide range of responsibilities, including: • General maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs, • Grounds upkeep and site presentation, • Managing supplies and equipment, • Conducting regular health and safety compliance checks, • Identifying and reporting potential hazards, • Supervising contractors and liaising with external service providers, • Supporting the preparation of events and activities, • Acting as a key contact for emergency callouts The role requires someone practical, organised, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. You will need strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality repair and maintenance work.
