We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dual Registered Manager to manage and oversee the care and wellbeing of children and young people in our two beautiful solo placement homes in Chester and The Wirral. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring that our homes provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for all children and young people in the home, ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of care are provided. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work alongside the senior management team to develop the staff and homes while they prepare for Ofsted registration. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of children's home care practices • Proven experience in a leadership role within a residential childcare environment., • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's care or equivalent., • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or willing to work towards., • Provide strong and effective leadership to the staff team, promoting a positive and nurturing environment for children and young people., • Manage and support staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance appraisals., • Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring it runs efficiently and meets the needs of the children., • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and young people., • Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and relevant childcare legislation., • Promote and uphold safeguarding practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and young people in the home., • Foster a nurturing environment that supports the emotional, physical, and educational development of children and young people., • Ensure children and young people are actively involved in decisions affecting their lives., • Manage the home’s budget effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and efficient resource allocation., • Prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders, including Ofsted and local authorities., • Communicate effectively with staff, children, families, and external professionals., • Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken., • Company pension, • management : 2 years (required)
