Job Purpose\n The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring vacancies are filled efficiently with high-quality candidates. The role involves advertising vacancies, sourcing candidates, screening applications, arranging interviews, maintaining recruitment systems, and providing an excellent service to recruiting managers and applicants. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Administration\n\n • Manage recruitment campaigns from vacancy approval through to appointment.\n, • Create and post job adverts across recruitment platforms and social media channels.\n, • Monitor applications and maintain accurate candidate records.\n, • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with company policies and employment legislation.\n, • Coordinate pre-employment checks, including references, right-to-work checks and other relevant clearances.\nCandidate Management\n\n, • Screen applications against job requirements.\n, • Contact candidates to discuss vacancies and suitability.\n, • Schedule and coordinate interviews and assessment activities.\n, • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.\n, • Provide a positive candidate experience at all stages of recruitment.\nHiring Manager Support\n\n, • Liaise with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements.\n, • Provide updates on vacancy progress and candidate pipelines.\n, • Assist with interview arrangements and recruitment documentation.\n, • Support managers in achieving recruitment targets and timescales.\nSystems & Reporting\n\n, • Maintain recruitment databases, CRM systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and spreadsheets.\n, • Produce recruitment reports and statistics as required.\n, • Ensure all candidate and vacancy information is accurate and up to date.\n, • Monitor recruitment activity and identify opportunities for process improvements.\nCompliance\n\n, • Ensure recruitment activities adhere to UK employment legislation, GDPR, and safeguarding requirements where applicable.\n, • Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information.\n, • Complete all onboarding documentation accurately and efficiently.\nPerson SpecificationEssential Experience\n\n, • Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, HR administration, or a similar role.\n, • Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.\n, • Experience using recruitment databases, ATS, CRM systems, or HR systems.\n, • Strong administrative and organisational skills.\nEssential Skills\n\n, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.\n, • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.\n, • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.\n, • Ability to build effective working relationships with candidates and hiring managers.\nDesirable Skills & Experience\n\n, • Experience recruiting within the public sector ,education, local government, or agency recruitment.\n, • Knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment best practices.\n, • Experience with social media recruitment and candidate sourcing.\n\n Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
