We are recruiting a Regional Technical Lead to cover Europe based within a commutable distance to London on a 12-month fixed term contract. The Regional Technical Manager, Europe, is responsible for leading the implementation of the account Engineering Maintenance Strategy as part of the Technical Excellence Program outcomes and leveraging CBRE systems and technology platforms to achieve optimal operational outcomes for the Syngenta account. This includes implementing methodologies appropriate to each location and introducing and managing appropriate maintenance programs for the region. The role will proactively address instances where maintenance standards fall below recommended levels by developing and presenting compelling local business cases to secure necessary resources. This role is also responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities for energy savings, sustainability projects, and Smart FM solutions, working collaboratively with other regional counterparts and the wider CBRE team. This role is accountable for contributing to the contract's savings glide path by driving productivity improvements, increasing self-performance capabilities, and optimizing contractor service delivery. As the primary technical expert for the Syngenta account across Europe, the role will be instrumental in driving technical excellence and innovation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Maintenance Strategy & Planning: · Develops and implements a comprehensive maintenance strategy for the Syngenta account sites in Europe, encompassing all site categories ensuring full alignment with the customer's maintenance policy and established standards. · Develops and maintains CAPEX plans, enhanced to deliver valuable data and insights for clients and teams, as part of the Syngenta Sustenance Planning process · Initiates and maintains CAPEX planning forums in the region as required. · Develops and maintains appropriate maintenance programs, ensuring effectiveness and compliance. CAFM & Data Management: · Standardizes the CAFM system across the region, focusing on hierarchy of build, critical asset identification, asset data storage, specific job plans, control of statutory compliance, and performance reporting. · Provides guidance to ensure critical systems and assets are properly identified and maintained. · Develops fault reporting codes for critical environments to provide granular failure data for root cause analysis and reliability strategies. · Managing the CAFM system across the region, ensuring compliance with CBRE contractual and global requirements, meeting deadlines, and maintaining customer satisfaction. · Drives improvements in hard services data analytics, reporting, and insights. · Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the management of key CMMS processes. Business Case Development & Optimization: · Prepares and presents compelling business cases to transition from reactive (break-fix) maintenance approaches to proactive and predictive planned maintenance. · Develops and delivers a pipeline of cost-saving initiatives to meet contractual glide path commitments. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: · Updates and maintains relevant Risk Registers, ensuring they are linked to capital planning and seen as value-add to our clients, as measured by stakeholder feedback. Team Development & Safety: · Works collaboratively with FMs across the region to develop a network of technical competence to support the expected growth of the account · Ensures a culture of safety is embedded across the region.
