Job Description Job Title: Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift (Temp) Location: St. Louis, MO Pay Rate: * 2nd Shift: $17.50/hour (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) * 3rd Shift: $18.00/hour (8:00 PM – 4:30 AM) Job Description We are currently hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a logistics client in St. Louis, MO. These are temporary positions offering steady hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The forklift operator will be responsible for efficiently locating, moving, stacking, and tracking products while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Duties and Responsibilities * Operate a variety of forklifts and packing machinery safely and efficiently * Meet inbound and outbound shipping schedules * Work as part of a team to load and unload materials * Accurately pick, pack, check, and load/unload products * Move materials packed on pallets or in crates throughout the facility * Stack loads correctly following inventory-control instructions * Inspect machinery for maintenance and report any safety issues immediately * Keep accurate production records and complete required documentation * Maintain compliance with company safety and quality policies * Perform other warehouse and material handling duties as assigned Education and Experience * Minimum 1 year of forklift or warehouse experience * RF scanner experience preferred * OSHA forklift certification or equivalent operating experience preferred Key Qualifications * Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask * Basic computer and math skills * Ability to take direction from multiple supervisors * Organized, dependable, and able to prioritize workload efficiently * Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines * Willingness to work overtime as needed * Team-oriented attitude with the ability to be cross-trained Language Skills * Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently * Spanish proficiency preferred (required in some markets) Physical Demands * Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift * Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation) * Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed * Must have normal color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus #ZR Company DescriptionMidway Staffing is a dynamic and rapidly growing enterprise dedicated to connecting top talent with leading organizations.
