Now Hiring: Assistant Branch Manager We’re looking for an Assistant Branch Manager who will team up with our Branch Manager in providing leadership through efficient daily operations in all areas of banking services. Oversee the branch office activities, general customer service, consumer lending and new account openings in the absence of the Branch Manager. Provide superior customer experiences to new and established Climate First Bank customers, including cross-selling products and services. To determine the specific salary offered for this role, we consider industry salary ranges, existing salary structures for this job family, background, skill and experience. What You’ll be driving as a Assistant Branch Manager • Detail focused day-to-day You’ll support your manager in meeting performance goals while coaching staff and ensuring exceptional customer service. You’ll manage daily branch operations, maintain audit readiness, and enforce security and dual control procedures., • Balance Sheets, Accounts and Wires You’ll ensure accurate financial transactions and compliance with banking regulations, including monitoring for suspicious activity and resolving BSA-related issues, • Reporting You’ll complete compliance training, report operational metrics, and communicate findings to management and compliance teams., • Audit Readiness You’ll proactively minimize audit exceptions and maintain documentation to ensure the branch is always prepared for regulatory reviews. What You’ll Leverage in this Role • Experience and Education You bring 3-5 years of Banking experience preferably with managerial experience still willing to learn and grow to learn the Climate First Bank way of branch banking. Excellent sales and interpersonal communication skills., • Entrepreneurial Self-Starter Mentality You take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively to drive results and continuous improvement., • Master Communicator Expertise You excel in customer service, conflict resolution, and professional communication with clients and colleagues., • Banking Acumen You understand banking, banking processes and banking accounting principles deeply. You are also a compliance wiz, have excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements — and you’re ready to put that knowledge to work., • Tech-Forward Thinking You’re quick to learn new tools and excited by innovation., • In-Person role., • Sustained standing and sitting., • Frequent communication (speaking and listening) in person, via email, text, phone or video chat., • Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor., • Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs.
