Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 11/03/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel LDRP Location: Santa Rosa, CA Unit Overview • Unit Type: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum), • Beds: 10, • Rooms: 10, • Avg Census: 12, • Staffing Ratios: 1:3 (Days, Nights, Weekends), • Shifts: 12 hr (07:00–19:30 / 19:00–07:30), • Allows 4x12 schedule, no block scheduling, • Float required, call required, • Patient age group: neonates – geriatricsRequired, • Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (Advanced preferred), FHM, • Experience: Minimum 2 years L&D + Postpartum experience, • Travel Experience: Seasoned traveler required; strong non-travel experience may be considered, • Skills:, • Labor & delivery management (circulate/recover C-sections, vaginal deliveries, hemorrhage/shock, amnioinfusion, forceps/vacuum, etc.), • Postpartum care (fundus/lochia/perineum care, episiotomy, wound care, hemorrhage, C-section recovery, couplet care), • Fetal monitoring (external/internal EFM, IUPC, abnormal pattern recognition), • Neonatal care (APGARs, resuscitation, cord sampling, hypoglycemia, newborn assessment, thermoregulation), • Medication administration (magnesium sulfate, pitocin, prostaglandins, terbutaline, antihypertensives, insulin drips, blood products), • IV therapy & phlebotomy (IVs, infusions, blood draws, central lines), • Patient ratio: Must be comfortable with 1:3 ratioPreferred, • AWHONN Advanced (or C-EFM in lieu), • Precepting experience (strong plus), • Charge RN experience, • Prior teaching hospital or community hospital experienceUnit Notes, • This is a true LDRP: requires both L&D and Postpartum experience, • Common patient diagnoses: low/high-risk labor, antepartum complications, hypertensive disorders, diabetes, multiple gestations, OB emergencies, • Support services: pharmacy, RT, radiology, social services, transportation, phlebotomy, rapid response, • Documentation: electronic charting, SBAR communication, • Scrubs providedOther Information, • Orientation: 36 hours, • 1 pre-approved time-off request per contract, • Unit does not accept 1st time travelers Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
