Valens Global is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Strategy, Plans, Exercises, and Policy Support Services expert. This role is essential in supporting the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) in Tampa, FL, by providing comprehensive planning and coordination expertise. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct all aspects of the Joint Operational Planning Process, including Mission Analysis, COA Development, COA Analysis (Wargaming), COA Comparison, and Decision, • Develop plans and orders by analyzing COA decisions, mission statements, commanders intent, and guidance to direct subordinate actions, • Ensure a coherent transition from planning to execution by conducting orderly handover of plans for order development, • Provide analyses and recommendations in support of high-priority USCENTCOM planning efforts involving joint, interagency, and multinational partners and allies, • Support the implementation and planning efforts of USCENTCOM Component Commands, other Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, the Office of Secretary of Defense, and other Federal departments and agencies, • Facilitate coordination between Directorates/staffs, and coalition and regional partner representatives for operations in the USCENTCOM AOR Minimum Qualifications: • U.S. Citizenship, • Must possess and maintain a Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance., • Bachelors degree+1year ofexperience(inclusive of internships)workingon issues related to internationalaffairs ornational security, • At least 3 years of planning experience with comprehensive knowledge of Joint Publication 5-0., • Experience in a military or civilian capacity at a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters or Service Component headquarters that directly supports a Geographic Combatant Command, • Proficiency in developing joint, interagency, and multinational activities within identified ways, means, and ends, • Experience in planning, researching, and providing qualitative analysis of kinetic, non-kinetic, lethal, and non-lethal options against state and non-state adversaries., • Experience conducting research drawing on a wide range of open sources, • Outstanding attention to detail, • Strong criticaland creativethinking skills, • Strong writing and editing capabilities, • Strong interpersonal communicationand collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working as an intelligence analyst within the U.S. governmentor supporting U.S. government contracts, • Organizational and project management planning skills, • Experience conductingquantitativeresearch and data analysis, • Experience and interest in learning and applyingnew technologies, • Graduates of JAWS, SAMS, SAASS, SAW, MAWS, or equivalent Senior Service College, • Experience with command-and-control information systems Required Application Materials: • Cover Letter, • Resume or CV Why Join Us: • Impactful Work: Play a crucial role in strategic planning and coordination efforts that support national security and defense, • Professional Growth: Opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement, • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and supportive setting *Candidates must complete the Predictive Index Assessments.Please click on this link to be redirected to the behavioral assessment, a free-choice, untimed test that helps us comprehend how you view your personal work ethic and how you view the workplace:
