MFS is currently looking to fill a new full-time role, Clinical Trainer! Within our Metropolitan Peace Academy (MPA) team! SALARY: The average starting salary for this position will fall in the range of $75,000 and $85,000 annually. Where candidates fall in this range will be based on skill and experience level. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Administer curricula addressing core clinical and CVI skills, including trauma care, mediation, conflict resolution, and community engagement., • Co-develop curricula that integrate clinical modalities and evidence-based practices utilized in the VP-CST service model, • Administer training on issues of violence reduction, including cultural competence, humility, and multi-sector collaboration., • Design, implement, and deliver specialized training programs and workshops for varying levels of CVI staff, including VP-CST team members (e.g., Peer Support Workers, QMHPs, LPHAs) and Peacekeepers., • Deliver initial staff LPHA and VP-CST team trainings to review Medicaid standards, team structure, policies and procedures, documentation practices, the IM+CANS process, practice scenarios, and corresponding billing and coding., • Facilitate ongoing development sessions for Peacekeepers (Pks), which include quarterly sessions on trends, restorative justice, and digital safety., • Train on standardized protocols, such as Conflict Mediation & De-escalation techniques, and utilize proven models like CPI, CVI, and Restorative Justice frameworks., • Provide technical support to the field in implementing new strategies that demonstrate program model fidelity and collaboration., • Co-lead monthly convening for Team Leads, LPHAs, and organizational leadership to discuss challenges, address questions/concerns, offer “refresher” trainings, and incorporate multidisciplinary case consultations., • Ensure standardization of wellness protocols to combat secondary trauma among Peacekeepers and CVI professionals, • Coordinate the collection and analysis of evaluation data to inform practice., • Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university, required., • Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and initiatives, including training plans, curricula, and methodology., • Knowledge of implementation and facilitation of technical, operational, and/or specialty training events and programs (specifically clinical and CVI modalities)., • Ability to grasp a large amount of information quickly and transform complex concepts (such as clinical practice and Medicaid standards) into easily understood training materials to ensure understanding and competency., • Excellent communication and presentation skills required (verbal and written), as well as teaching and facilitation skills., • Satisfactorily pass all screenings and criminal background checks.
