Job Description Job Title: Foreman Job Description We are seeking an experience with either the concrete field or carpentry field to lead large new construction projects. The projects focus on multi-family apartment complexes and large commercial office buildings. All job sites are 100% unoccupied, new construction, and the company operates as a non-union, merit-based general contractor. Responsibilities • Lead and supervise construction activities on large new construction sites., • Coordinate with various teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met., • Work across multiple job sites as required, including West, Central, and East locations., • Perform carpentry and concrete work as needed, ensuring adherence to safety standards., • Manage and mentor a team of construction workers to optimize performance and project success. Essential Skills • 5+ years of commercial concrete construction experience, including footings, wall forming, and pouring., • 5+ years of carpentry experience, specializing in framing or trim work., • Proficiency in using hand tools such as tape measures, hammers, and speed squares., • Strong leadership and team management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in trim and finish carpentry., • Knowledge of construction labor practices., • Ability to adapt work hours based on project needs and seasonal changes. Work Environment Work in a commercial construction setting exposed to various weather conditions. Standard working hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for extended hours or Saturday work as project demands. Safety is paramount, requiring personal protective equipment such as hard hats, high visibility vests, safety glasses, and covered work boots. Utilize essential tools including tape measures, belts, hammers, linesmen pliers, and speed squares. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
