Job Description Full Time: Primary care and specialty health services, including addiction and substance abuse treatment, mental health care, neurosurgery, orthopedics, palliative and hospice care, treatment for spinal cord injuries and disorders, and more. All shifts available: 7am-3:30pm 3pm-11pm 11pm-7am No Federal holidays About the Role: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working on a Part Time, PRN basis with a flexible schedule, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings. Your primary focus will be to assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. This role requires adaptability to work varied shifts and respond to fluctuating patient care needs efficiently. You will collaborate closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to support patient care plans and contribute to a positive healing environment. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact patient satisfaction and the overall effectiveness of the healthcare team. Minimum Qualifications: • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment., • High school diploma or equivalent., • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire., • Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care., • Previous experience working as a CNA in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting., • Additional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or specialized patient care training., • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation software., • Strong interpersonal skills with experience in patient-centered communication., • Provide direct patient care including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding., • Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure accurately., • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by nursing staff or therapists., • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols., • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to report changes in patient condition or concerns., • Support nursing staff with documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. The required skills such as patient care techniques, vital sign monitoring, and infection control are essential for delivering safe and effective care daily. Communication skills enable you to interact compassionately with patients and collaborate efficiently with the healthcare team. Physical stamina and dexterity are necessary to assist patients with mobility and perform routine care tasks. Preferred skills like familiarity with electronic health records streamline documentation and improve accuracy in patient information management. Flexibility and adaptability allow you to meet the dynamic scheduling needs and diverse patient care situations encountered in this role.
