Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial operations, including billing, invoicing, and project accounting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with project managers and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Responsibilities: • Set up and maintain project accounts within accounting and project management systems., • Monitor and reconcile budgets, costs, and billing schedules to ensure financial accuracy., • Generate and submit client invoices based on contractual agreements and follow up on outstanding payments., • Prepare detailed financial reports and cost summaries for management review., • Review and audit financial documentation to ensure billing accuracy and compliance., • Assist project managers with budget adjustments, forecasts, and financial documentation., • Maintain organized records of contracts, purchase orders, and other project-related financial documents., • Collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure adherence to financial policies., • Facilitate audits by compiling and providing necessary financial documentation., • Enforce company standards for financial reporting and internal controls.• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or project administration; experience in construction or engineering industries is a plus., • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, Deltek, or similar platforms., • Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis., • Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail., • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration., • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines., • Familiarity with accounts receivable functions, including billing, cash applications, and collections., • Knowledge of financial compliance standards and reporting procedures.
