About the Role Were looking for a Hospitality Sector Leader that will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for RNGDs hospitality portfolio, including hotels, resorts, mixed-use hospitality developments, renovations, and brand-driven projects. This role is responsible for driving sector growth, ensuring operational excellence, fostering client relationships, and maintaining strong financial performance across all hospitality projects. The Sector Leader is accountable for sector strategy, P&L performance, team development, client experience, and long-term market positioning while embodying and promoting RNGDs culture and core values. Core Responsibilities • Strategic Growth and Sector Vision, • Develop and execute a long-term growth strategy for the Hospitality sector aligned with enterprise objectives., • Identify new market opportunities, emerging hospitality trends, and brand partnerships to expand RNGDs presence., • Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing to position RNGD competitively for hospitality pursuits., • Support pursuit strategies, client interviews, and project positioning efforts., • Operational Integration, • Ensure seamless collaboration between Preconstruction, Operations, Safety, Risk, and Finance across hospitality projects., • Oversee execution strategies that address hospitality-specific complexities including phasing, renovations in occupied environments, brand standards, and guest experience continuity., • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance schedule certainty, quality, and cost predictability., • Ensure effective turnover from preconstruction to operations and through project closeout., • Client and Industry Engagement, • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitality owners, developers, brand representatives, architects, and consultants., • Serve as the primary executive-level point of contact for key hospitality clients., • Represent RNGD within hospitality industry associations and community organizations., • Enhance RNGDs reputation through professional engagement, responsiveness, and consistent delivery performance., • Risk and Performance Management, • Maintain oversight of sector P&L performance, backlog health, and resource allocation., • Identify contractual, operational, and financial risks early and implement mitigation strategies., • Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, schedule, margin, and client satisfaction., • Ensure compliance with brand standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements., • Leadership and Culture Building, • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing hospitality project teams., • Establish clear expectations and accountability for performance across the sector., • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence., • Continuously reinforce RNGDs core values and manifesto., • Financial and Commercial Management, • Own sector-level budgeting, forecasting, backlog development, and financial performance., • Support estimating strategies, pricing decisions, and commercial structuring for hospitality projects., • Establish KPIs and reporting cadence to support scalable growth. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field., • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with significant experience in hospitality projects., • 5+ years of leadership experience with P&L responsibility., • Demonstrated understanding of hospitality construction complexities including phased renovations, brand requirements, and operational continuity., • Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills., • Strong financial acumen and strategic planning capability.
