Job Purpose The Supplier Development Engineer is expected to support all activities that ensure a continuous flow of parts to our production line(s). This person will support the Supply Chain Organization in the recovery of critical production suppliers. The primary function of the Supplier Development Engineer role is to assist in the execution of a synchronized strategy with their Supply Chain Counterparts while liaising with Manufacturing, Quality and Customer Service on Supplier commitments, ensuring all criticalities are addressed, roadmap for recovery is maintained and ensuring proactive communication to stakeholders. On site work at the supplier location is critical to the execution and assurance of Supplier improved performance. In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring the production readiness of approved and qualified suppliers in support of any new program launch. During supplier development and technical assistance missions, the engineer must choose the right approach, depth, focus, techniques and lessons learned, in order to properly address situations. Each supplier development opportunity may be unique. Finally, in performing this role, the Supplier Development Engineer should look for cost reduction opportunities. Climbing Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance. Additional Information Stooping/Bending Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station. Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients. Crouching/Squatting Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas. Reaching Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward. Workers reach above 72" occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves. Workers reaching down to perform such tasks as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes. Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones. Hand Tasks Eye-hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous during the day. Frequently activities require use of one or both hands. Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists. Workers must manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter. Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes. Team Members must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes. Responsibilities: • Serves as a main point-of-contact; interprets various routine HR programs, policies, and procedures to ensure clarity for employees and managers, assists in resolving employee issues, • Establish and maintain employee payroll records and confidential employee data or files, this includes data integrity of HRIS System, • Comply with local, state, and federal payroll regulations and respond to questions and special requests from regulatory agencies, • Assists with the administration of benefits including invoice reconciliation and auditing., • Conducts onboarding of all new employees, submitting criminal background checks and drugs screens, • Conducts onboarding of all independent contractors and temporary employees; offboarding of independent contractors, • Ensures new hire paperwork is completed in compliance with company policy, federal and state requirements Education & Experience: • Associate Degree preferred, • Three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resources experience required, • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred Computer/Communication Skills: • Proficient use of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, required, • Proficient use of HRIS/Payroll related software, required Salary $65,000 - $70,000 Company DescriptionWe will work tirelessly on your behalf to identify opportunities that will best match your career goals to our clients' hiring needs!We will work tirelessly on your behalf to identify opportunities that will best match your career goals to our clients' hiring needs!
