Job Description Job Classification: Public Health Dental Hygienist Schedule: Full-Time - 40 hours/week Reports To: Dental Director FLSA Status: Exempt Location: All Health Centers Heartland Alliance Health’s (HAH) mission is to transform healthcare for the most vulnerable – particularly people experiencing homelessness, mental illness or addictions, or struggling with multiple chronic illnesses – improving health for all and the well-being of our community. The Dental Hygienist, under differing levels of supervision, will provide dental health care services that include cleaning, polishing, and providing preventative instructions and treatments. The Dental Hygienist may also provide chairside assistance as needed. Individual accountabilities and work volume will be established through the development of annual Success Objectives and annual Performance Evaluations, within the framework outlined below. Clinical Duties • Perform duties under “general supervision” which requires a previous exam within 12 months by a treating dentist but does not require the dentist to be present within the facility or location of care including, but not limited to:, • Oral Prophylaxis (dental cleaning), • Application of Fluoride, • Placement of Sealants, • Placement of SDF • Perform the following duties under “supervision” requiring the dentist to be present within the facility or location of care including, but not limited to: i. Identify obstacles and teach patients how to prevent dental disease. Dispense proper oral hygiene aids, • Maintain patient dental charts, including periodontal charting and proper documentation, • Take acceptable radiographs when necessary, • Stock required supplies and maintain equipment, • Work in coordination with the management to develop and implement a quality assurance program, • Demonstrate proficient skills in dental prophylaxis and proper use of equipment., • May need to support dental assistant as needed, • Adheres to professional standards as outlined by governmental bodies, the ADA, the ADHA, private funding sources, Agency plans/policies and unit guidelines. Must keep license., • Promote the development of clinical policies and data collection, • Acts as a preceptor and provides onboarding, orientation, and training to new dental personnel, dental assistants, interns, and volunteers on dental hygiene procedures, protocols, infection control, and clinic operations., • Offers mentorship, coaching, and ongoing guidance to support the professional development and skill growth of team members and trainees., • Provides direction and oversight to dental assistants during chairside assistance and routine procedures to ensure proper workflow efficiency., • Serves as a consultant and resource for specialized patient populations, sharing expertise with other dental care providers and community partners., • Education and/or Experience: Minimum Associate’s degree (A.A.) from an accredited dental hygiene school required; must possess RDH certification and Active Dental Hygienist License; minimum one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience., • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. About the Role We are hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the HashSphere engineering team. HashSphere is a greenfield, enterprise-focused distributed ledger platform built on Hiero, designed for private and consortium deployments with a strong emphasis on security, privacy, and scalability. This role is hands-on and high impact. You will own the design, deployment, and reliability of mission-critical, multi-region infrastructure used by large organizations across financial services, supply chain, and healthcare. You will partner closely with product, security, and platform leadership to shape architecture, reliability strategy, and operational standards from the ground up. This is not a support role. We are looking for someone who has operated real systems at scale, measured outcomes, and taken end-to-end ownership. What You’ll Do * Design, build, and operate highly available, multi-region distributed systems with clear recovery strategies and tested RTO/RPO. * Partner with the Head of SRE to define the reliability roadmap, platform architecture, and operational standards. * Own large-scale Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including reusable modules, multi-account patterns, and policy guardrails. * Operate and scale Kubernetes environments (EKS, GKE, or AKS) using GitOps practices (ArgoCD), Helm, and strong RBAC and network policies. * Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, including blue/green and canary deployments, promotion and rollback strategies, and artifact integrity (SBOM, signing). * Define and improve SRE practices, including SLOs, error budgets, observability, and measurable reductions in MTTR/MTTA. * Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate customer and business requirements into reliable, secure platform services. * Contribute to the operational support and continuous improvement of customer-facing HashSphere deployments. Required Qualifications * 7+ years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering operating production distributed systems. * Strong multi-cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure), with SME-level depth in AWS or GCP. * Proven experience running multi-region production systems, including disaster recovery testing, runbooks, and real incident ownership. * Deep, hands-on experience with Kubernetes at scale (EKS/GKE/AKS), including GitOps workflows and production-grade security controls. * Extensive experience with Terraform-first Infrastructure as Code in large, real-world environments (not POCs). * Strong security and compliance mindset, including Zero Trust principles, secrets management (Vault or cloud-native equivalents), and exposure to regulated environments (PCI, SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST). * Comfortable owning systems end to end, with clear metrics and outcomes to show impact.
