Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, property managers, and housing partners., • Identify, visit, and secure various housing options (affordable housing, Section 8, shared housing, etc.)., • Maintain an up-to-date housing database and unit availability list., • Help address client barriers (e.g., prior evictions); negotiate with landlords on behalf of clients., • Ensure units meet habitability standards and rent guidelines., • Support case managers in the housing search, application, and leasing process., • Advocate for clients and mediate landlord-tenant concerns., • Provide staff training on housing applications and requirements., • Track and document housing placements, appointments, and outcomes., • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and housing events., • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Bachelors degree + 2 years in social services or sales/marketing, or equivalent experience., • Strong interpersonal, sales, and advocacy skills., • Experience working with landlords and/or unhoused populations preferred., • Familiarity with fair housing laws and a range of housing programs., • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills., • Knowledge of Housing First and Harm Reduction models., • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment., • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, HMIS, or other databases)., • Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse populations.
