Job DescriptionJob Title: Infusion Nurse Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. You will play a crucial role in patient care, focusing on infusion treatments, patient history gathering, and support in care plan development. Responsibilities • Record patient vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes., • Gather patient histories and interpret lab results., • Obtain blood specimens and support providers in creating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans., • Maintain thorough documentation for assigned patient care., • Answer phone calls related to referrals and schedule patient tests, procedures, and hospital admissions., • Schedule appointments for follow-up on test results., • Perform administrative duties including typing, filing, faxing, and reception.Essential Skills, • 3+ years of experience as a Nurse., • 2+ years of experience in Oncology., • Texas State Board of Nursing License., • Proficiency in oncology, infusion, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy., • Strong customer service skills., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Self-sufficient and critical thinker., • Knowledge of medical terminology and administrative skills., • Phlebotomy expertise., • Experience with electronic medical records and electronic health records., • Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and team player mindset.Work Environment The work hours are from 8:30 AM to 5 PM or until the last patient is seen, Monday through Friday, with no weekends. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pearland, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
