Job DescriptionSenior Data Architect | $45 - $67 per hour | Hybrid Contract What Matters Most • Competitive Pay of $45 - $67 per hour, • Schedule: Flexible Hybrid (50% per week in-office after 100% onsite training), • Location: Omaha, NE, • 1-Year Contract with the possibility of extension or hire-on, • Weekly Pay with direct deposit, • Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture solutions aligned with business strategy and objectives, • Lead the development of data models, data warehouses, data marts, and data lake architectures, • Define and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices for data management and governance, • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions, • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps, evaluating emerging tools and platforms for strategic adoption, • Oversee data integration, orchestration, and pipeline design using modern cloud-based tools, • Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility across systems and platforms, • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on data architecture and engineering practices, • Identify risks related to data systems and recommend mitigation strategies, • Support automation, controls, and operational processes for ongoing data platform maintenance, • Communicate architectural vision, strategies, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences Qualifications and Requirements:, • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles, • Strong experience with data warehousing concepts (Inmon, Kimball) and data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, Embarcadero), • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline/orchestration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Data Pipeline), • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake), • Knowledge of data lake architecture, Apache Spark, and large-scale data processing frameworks, • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines), • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level data systems, • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, • Experience within the insurance industry (coverages, rating, products), • Exposure to AI/ML technologies and advanced analytics, • Background in software development (.NET, NoSQL, or related technologies), • Relevant certifications in cloud, data, or project management disciplines, • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization, • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, • Proven ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions, • Medical, Dental, and Life insurance benefits., • Eligible for a 401(k) plan., • Weekly Pay with direct deposit.
