POSITION PROFILE: Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the successful and timely delivery of healthcare architecture projects. This client-facing leadership role requires a hands-on mentality and the ability to create a mentoring support structure for supervised employees. The Project Manager manages all stages of assigned projects, including budgets, schedules, staffing, and coordination with the executive management team and/or Principal in Charge (PIC). This role ensures projects are executed efficiently, in compliance with codes, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day communications with internal teams, consultants, and government agencies, and serves as a liaison between clients and the project team to advance projects from design through construction and occupancy. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding office projects and activities, • Oversee day-to-day communications with internal team, consultants, and government agencies; involve PIC as necessary, • Ensure constructability, code compliance, and coordination with government agencies in collaboration with Project Architect or Project Designer, • Resolve field questions and RFIs, coordinating responses with internal team, consultants, and contractors, • Perform QA/QC preliminary reviews for all projects, • Serve as senior liaison with individuals and consultants regarding technical matters for assigned projects, • Facilitate communication between contractor and firm to ensure construction administration services meet contract requirements, • Conduct jobsite observations and interface with authorities having jurisdiction, • Participate in construction meetings to review progress and anticipate potential issues, • Work with PIC and marketing department to prepare RFQ responses, interviews, and presentation materials, • Pursue new project leads and maintain client relationships, • Direct project staffing, scheduling, and office labor budget; monitor project status and develop action plans with PIC, • Provide leadership and resolve issues within the project team, • Coach, guide, and mentor team members; host weekly team meetings, • Supervise, manage, and mentor junior and senior-level staff, • Participate in value analysis or cost reduction activities to keep projects within budget, • Assist in reviewing Contractors Applications and Certificates for Payment, • Assist in preparation of Substantial Completion Certificates and project closeout documents, • Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare architecture on projects of varying complexity, • Professional degree; licensed architect, • Experience managing a minimum of 5 employees, • Proficient in Microsoft Office EOE STATEMENT: Emissary Recruiting Solutions and its Clients/Affiliates are equal opportunity employers who zealously support and advance diversity in the workplace. POSITION PROFILE: Our client seeks an experienced Senior Project Architect to oversee the execution and efficient development of one or more significant projects. The Senior Project Architect interacts with the PIC, Project Manager, Project Designer, and project team members (internal and external) to ensure a systematic progression of project phases. This role manages project teams, coordinates multidisciplinary efforts, and ensures quality, timeliness, and adherence to budget throughout the project lifecycle. Responsible for managing team assignments, directing design and documentation, coordinating with clients and consultants, and maintaining compliance with codes and standards. Provides leadership, mentorship, and guidance to staff, and supports business development efforts. Ensures projects achieve the firms design intent while mitigating liability risks. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage the project team members day-to-day assignments, • Ensure quality and timeliness of work execution, • Support PM in maintaining client rapport and satisfaction, • Protect the firms liability exposure, • Coordinate project logs, files, and documentation, • Assist in design charrettes and QA/QC reviews at appropriate stages, • Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource-loaded workplans with PM, • Monitor project status and communicate issues and solutions to PIC and PM, • Lead communications with PM, consultants, and regulatory agencies, • Organize and run project meetings, • Assist with building program development, design concepts, and design synthesis, • Initiate design and development of building systems and details, • Develop and coordinate specifications, materials, colors, and finishes, • Participate in value analysis to maintain project budget, • Ensure constructability, code compliance, and coordination with government agencies, • Oversee accuracy and completeness of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines, • Assist PM in bidding, negotiation, and issuance of Addenda, • Administer or supervise construction contract administration services, including RFI reviews, submittals, site visits, field reports, punch lists, ASIs, pay applications, change orders, OAC meetings, and certificate of substantial completion, • Coordinate closeout documents for AHJs, • Perform other duties as assigned POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum 10 years of experience in architecture (healthcare preferred) on projects of varying sizes and complexities, • Professional degree in Architecture; licensed architect, • Proficient in Microsoft Office and BIM (Revit), • Strong leadership, mentorship, and project management experience, • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively with clients EOE STATEMENT: Emissary Recruiting Solutions and its Clients/Affiliates are equal opportunity employers who zealously support and advance diversity in the workplace.
