Mixing/Batching Team Member: Batching team members are responsible for effectively working with their team to follow daily work instructions. The Batching Department blends prepared and purchased raw materials and delivers bulk products to the Packaging Department. Team members handle food ingredients, follow recipes, document traceability, operate washing, chopping, pumping and mixing equipment, whilst following food quality and safety standards to ensure the safe and timely production of healthy food. What You’ll Do: • Assist in setting up the Ingredient Prep. and Batching areas, • Prepare raw materials for processing, including de-casing, inspecting, washing, size reducing and portioning., • Prepare, properly label, and stage raw materials for downstream processes., • Safely operate process equipment with supervision including wash tanks, product conveyors, drum/tote unloaders, size reduction equipment, pumps, buggy dumpers and mixing systems., • Assist with general sanitation activities, including breakdown of various equipment following product changeovers and at the end of the production shift., • Work as part of a team to ensure timely and efficient production.
