Position Summary: The Welder works in a fast-paced, results-oriented production environment and is responsible for reporting on a variety of items, including garbage, recycling, yard waste containers, vehicle assemblies, and facilities components. This position schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 pm-4:00 am. Your Role: • Repairs, modifies, or fabricates a variety of metal w,ork including waste containers, vehicle assemblies, and facility components., • Cuts, fits, and welds using gas and electric equipment., • Performs skilled brazing and soldering., • Uses a variety of machines and equipment in and out of repair areas., • May operate heavy equipment as needed., • Take an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace., • Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings., • Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards., • Knowledge of tools and methods of gas and electric welding, • Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions., • Ability to take and understand oral instructions., • At least one year of welding, fabrication, and painting experience, • Knowledge of and appreciation for safe work habits, • Forklift experience, • Valid driver's license, • Hold an appropriate CDL or be willing to obtain an appropriate CDL, • Gritty, outgoing, and eager to learn., • Family-Oriented Environment Listed below are key points regarding the job's environmental demands and work environment.
