That's just 26 weeks of work per year—with a full-time salary—giving you half the year off while maintaining full-time pay., • No extra on-call surprises: Your schedule is set, so you can confidently plan your personal life without unexpected obligations., • Optimized territories: Our territories are designed to minimize drive times while still meeting the urgent needs of our patients, making your work more efficient and focused. What You'll Do: • Deliver urgent patient care after hours, including admissions, symptom management, and other pressing needs. Think of this role as the "emergency room" for hospice patients in your neighborhood., • Be a reassuring presence for patients, families, and our care team, providing clear, compassionate communication with physicians, nurse practitioners, and hospice case managers. What You Won't Do: • You won't be responsible for triaging patients on your own—our triage team handles that and dispatches visits only when an in-person RN is required., • You won't manage an assigned caseload or ongoing patient care. Your focus is providing immediate, high-impact support when it matters most. Required Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, Baccalaureate, or Masters Degree in Nursing., • Current State License as a Registered Nurse, • Ability to assess and respond to the needs of patients, families, and caregivers in varied settings and to function effectively in the home or nursing facility environment, • Skill in nursing practice, ability to cope with ill, disabled, terminal patients, family emotional stress, and tolerance of individual lifestyles, • Ability to critical think and prioritize the needs of multiple patients., • Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance coverage, • Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently, • Ability to lift at least 35 lbs. and bear the weight of an average adult effectively Desired Qualifications • Experience in Emergency Medicine, Geriatrics, hospice or home health environment preferred, • Familiarity with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) is a plus.
