Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 02/23/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT / CRT) Location: Hagerstown, MD Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) Scheduled Thursday–Saturday (weekend coverage required) Role Overview: • Provide respiratory care services across multiple patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, • Work in a community hospital setting with exposure to Emergency Department, NICU (Level II), and Pediatric units, • Perform airway management and pulmonary hygiene procedures, • Assist with and perform intubation and extubation (adult, pediatric, and neonatal), • Manage mechanical ventilation, including setup, monitoring, troubleshooting alarms, and weaning, • Administer respiratory medications and therapies, • Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and interpret results, • Provide oxygen therapy using multiple delivery systems, • Assist with bronchoscopies, a-line insertions, and patient transport (intra-departmental and ambulance), • Deliver neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, including bubble CPAP and HFNC Airway & Pulmonary Care: • Oral and nasal airway placement and suctioning, • Tracheostomy care and management, • Sputum specimen collection, • BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV, • High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), • Bag-mask ventilation, • ET tubes, trach collars, T-piece setups, • Albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Spiriva, • Mucomyst, Racemic Epinephrine, Lidocaine, • NICU Level II experience, • Direct intubation (neonatal and pediatric), • Care of patients with:, • Respiratory distress syndrome, • RSV, • Transient tachypnea of the newborn, • Capillary blood gases, • 2–3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience (3 years preferred), • Pediatrics and NICU experience required, • Community hospital experience required, • Epic charting experience required, • Active Maryland Respiratory Care License (pending licenses not accepted), • CRT or RRT (required), • BLS (required) Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
