Job DescriptionSalary: $20 - $25 based on experience We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Behavior Technician to join our team. In this leadership-focused role, you will provide high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy while serving as a mentor and role model for junior Behavior Technicians. This position is ideal for a skilled ABA professional who is passionate about developing others, collaborating closely with BCBAs, and ensuring the consistent delivery of ethical, compassionate, and effective services to the clients and families we serve. Duties: • Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs under the supervision of a BCBA, • Deliver high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy in home, clinic, and community-based settings, • Provide mentorship, modeling, and constructive feedback to junior Behavior Technicians to support their professional growth, • Accurately collect, document, and report client data using electronic data systems, • Implement behavior intervention strategies and manage challenging behaviors in a safe, professional, and compassionate manner, • Maintain clear, consistent communication with families and interdisciplinary team members, • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case reviews to support clinical excellence, • Demonstrate leadership through ethical practice, collaboration, accountability, and proactive problem-solving Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, or a related field preferred, • 23 years of direct ABA experience strongly preferred, • Active RBT certification in good standing with the BACB required, or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire, • Previous experience mentoring or training Behavior Technicians preferred (training and leadership development provided for the right candidate), • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to evolving client and team needs, • A positive, energetic, and engaging presence that naturally builds rapport with children, • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Ottawa and Kent counties and surrounding areas, as needed If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with behavioral health challenges, possess the required skills, and meet the experience criteria, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
