If you are a CNA, PCA, Nurse Aide Responsibilities * Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support to seniors. * Assistance with Daily Activities: Help with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. * Medication Management: Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure they adhere to prescribed medication schedules. * Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences. * Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for the senior. * Transportation: Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other essential outings. * Monitoring Health: Observe and report any changes in the senior's health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members. * Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any significant changes in the client's condition. Caregiver Qualifications: • 1 year of CNA/NA/PCA experience preferred, • Willing to accept new PCAs/CNAs and provide in-home care training., • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation required - may need to drive clients in own vehicle. Will be reimbursed for mileage, • Must be willing to work in homes with pets.
