The Radiation Therapist – Academic Medical Center accurately delivers radiation treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, and is responsible for continued patient assessment, patient education, accurate and current documentation to assure the delivery of quality patient care on a daily basis. Preferred: • Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist in a comparable clinical setting. These procedures include M-mode, two-dimensional, planar Doppler blood flow studies, Exercise and Dobutamine Stress tests, 3D echocardiograpy, as well as the techniques required to calculate measurements of chamber size and value area. Responsibilities: • Learns and applies echocardiograph techniques in order to competently perform all commonly applied procedures according to set protocols established by cardiologists.
