Professional Competencies & Work Style: • Highly ethical and honest; operates from the highest levels of integrity, • Passionate about being of service to others, excellent customer service skills and self-motivated, • Team player, team oriented high work ethic and respectful, • Professional in demeanor and appearance, graceful under pressure, • Values free enterprise, patriotic, • Critical thinker, • Resourceful, responsible and accountable, • Organized, detail oriented, strong planner, • Positive and energetic, skilled at building relationships, deals effectively with people at all levels, • Dedicated and dependable, • Flexible, adaptable, innovative and highly responsive Qualifications: • U.S. Person, eligible to work on export-controlled and government-regulated programs., • 7+ years of progressive experience in contracts administration or management within a government contracting environment, preferably supporting defense, aerospace, or space programs., • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and ensure compliance with government contracts, including prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders, modifications, and flow-down requirements., • Strong working knowledge of FAR and DFARS, including clause applicability, risk identification, and compliance obligations throughout the contract lifecycle., • Practical understanding of export control regulations, including ITAR and EAR, and the ability to support contract reviews for export-controlled data, hardware, and technical assistance., • Familiarity with CMMC, CUI handling requirements, and cybersecurity-related contractual obligations, with the ability to coordinate with IT, Security, and Program teams to ensure compliance., • Proven discretion and sound judgment when handling highly confidential, proprietary, and sensitive government and customer information., • Strong customer service orientation, supporting internal stakeholders and external customers with professionalism and responsiveness., • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including creation, maintenance, and analysis of contract data, trackers, and compliance matrices., • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, with advanced document formatting skills for contracts, amendments, certifications, and formal correspondence., • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain contractual requirements, risks, and obligations to both technical and non-technical audiences., • Ability to operate independently, manage multiple contracts simultaneously, and exercise critical thinking in a fast-paced, regulated environment., • Education level is not determinative; qualifications are based on demonstrated skills, experience, and ability to perform the duties of the role in a highly regulated government contracting environment. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: • Oversee the full contract lifecycle for government and commercial contracts, including review, negotiation, execution, administration entry, modification, and closeout., • Review, analyze, and negotiate contract terms and conditions, including FAR and DFARS clauses, identifying risks, exceptions, and compliance requirements., • Maintain ownership of the FAR and DFARS master clause library, ensuring accuracy, applicability, and proper flow-downs., • Provide contract guidance and risk assessments to executive leadership, program management, and cross-functional teams to support informed decision-making., • Communicate contract pipeline status and key contractual risks to executives and key stakeholders., • Own contractual inputs to proposal activities, including contract volumes, compliance matrices, and coordination with pricing, legal, and program teams., • Support proposal preparation, submission, and negotiations, ensuring contractual requirements are clearly understood and addressed., • Serve as librarian and owner of BOEs and ROMs, ensuring consistency, version control, and audit-ready documentation., • Oversee the contract approval process, ensuring proper internal reviews, approvals, and documentation prior to execution., • Ensure executed contracts are accurately entered into company systems, including front-end entry of drafts, pricing, and contractual data, and back-end loading of fully executed contracts, activation, and pricing configuration., • Ensure final contract documents reflect negotiated terms and conditions and are properly stored and accessible., • Partner with Program Management to monitor contract performance, identifying the need for modifications, extensions, or corrective actions to meet contractual obligations., • Support quality and compliance activities, including contractual input for AS9100 and participation in internal and external audits., • Continuously improve contracts processes, tools, and systems to support scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency., • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Quality, IT, and Program teams to ensure contract alignment across the organization., • Perform additional contracts-related duties as required to support company objectives and regulatory compliance., • Lead contract process improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies, standardizing workflows, and implementing best practices to improve compliance, cycle time, and scalability., • Manage and oversee all export control activities, including compliance with ITAR and EAR, review of contracts and technical data for export-controlled content, coordination of export determinations, and support of internal export control policies and training.
