We are looking for a proactive, independent and experienced Energy Efficiency Data Analyst creating baselines and interpreting customer data. Position Description Summary The Energy Efficiency Data Analyst supports utility and sustainability programs by providing data-driven insights that improve program design, implementation, and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting program and customer data to evaluate energy savings, establish baselines, and support reporting requirements. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, education sector partners, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate measurement, tracking, and reporting of energy efficiency initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Collect, clean, and manage large datasets related to energy efficiency programs and customer usage., • Develop and validate program baselines to accurately measure energy savings and program impacts., • Conduct statistical and trend analysis to assess performance, cost-effectiveness, and customer outcomes., • Work with the education sector (schools, colleges, and districts) to analyze usage data, track energy efficiency projects, and provide actionable insights., • Prepare regulatory filings, dashboards, and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders., • Support program design and evaluation by providing data-driven recommendations., • Ensure compliance with CPUC and other regulatory requirements., • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to support program implementation., • Develop and maintain tools, templates, and automated reporting processes to improve efficiency., • Communicate findings through clear presentations and visualizations to technical and non-technical audiences.Qualifications:, • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (Masters preferred)., • 25 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the utility, energy, education, or sustainability sector., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools., • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)., • Knowledge of energy efficiency programs, demand-side management, and regulatory reporting requirements a plus., • Experience working with education sector partners and developing baselines preferred., • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
