Job Description Warehouse Associate - Shipping/Receiving Shift/Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Possible overtime on Fridays) Pay Rate: $17/hr. Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities and Requirements may include: • Prepare goods for shipment by building pallets by box size, weight, and height., • Load and unload trucks by hand and forklift., • Load pallets of full goods onto trailers., • Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material., • Operate forklift and/or pallet jack (manual or electric)., • Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability., • Complete shipping reports and create shipping documents., • Use computer and perform data entry, as needed., • Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes., • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., • Required attire includes steel toe boots, t-shirts, and long pants., • Recent Shipping & Receiving experience is required., • A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred., • Willingness to submit to a background check and/or drug test., • Must be a responsible and dependable individual.
