Job Description Weber Gallagher has an immediate opening for an Associate for our Medical Malpractice group. The candidate will work a hybrid schedule from Bedminster, NJ. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and research abilities, and prior exposure to litigation work. Responsibilities: • Support the defense of complex medical malpractice cases from inception through trial and appeal., • Conduct case evaluations, develop litigation strategy, and advise clients on risk assessment and potential exposure., • Draft and argue dispositive motions, prepare trial briefs, oversee discovery, including expert witness preparation., • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings and trials., • Build and maintain strong client relationships., • Stay current on changes in healthcare law., • Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc., • 2-5 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in Medical Malpractice and/or General Liability., • J.D. from an accredited law school., • Active and good standing NJ bar license; required., • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills., • Excellent communication skills., • Expertise in defense litigation., • Experience reviewing complex medical records, expert testimony, and scientific evidence., • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
