Job DescriptionProject Executive (Mechanical Construction) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead mechanical construction initiatives across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and data center markets. The Project Executive will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale MEP and mechanical projects overseeing project planning, execution, financial performance, safety, quality, and client relationships. The role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, proven project management and financial management capabilities, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet schedule, budget, and compliance targets. Key Responsibilities • Provide executive leadership and oversight for multiple mechanical construction projects (MEP, HVAC, plumbing) from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives., • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and profit/loss reporting; implement cost-control measures and approve major expenditures to achieve financial targets., • Lead project planning and scheduling activities, including resource allocation, critical path monitoring, and coordination with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors., • Oversee procurement, vendor selection, and subcontractor management for mechanical scopes; negotiate contracts and manage change orders and claims., • Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact, maintaining strong relationships, managing expectations, and providing regular status updates and executive reporting., • Coordinate multidisciplinary MEP teams and interface with design engineers, commissioning agents, and authorities having jurisdiction to ensure technical compliance and constructability., • Drive project safety and quality programs; enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with regulatory, code, and contract requirements (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, local building codes)., • Manage commissioning, startup, and turnover activities for HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring performance testing, documentation, and training are completed., • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve complex technical and contractual issues, and lead dispute resolution when necessary., • Mentor and develop project managers and site teams; promote continuous improvement, best practices, and knowledge sharing across the organization., • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred., • Minimum 812 years of progressive experience in mechanical construction and MEP project leadership, including proven experience in commercial, healthcare, and data center projects., • Demonstrated expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems design, installation, and commissioning; strong understanding of MEP coordination and integration., • Proven project management and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and schedule management on multi-million-dollar projects., • Experience with procurement, subcontractor management, change management, and contract negotiations., • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC) and healthcare-specific regulations (e.g., FGI, HTM) where relevant., • Proficiency with construction management and scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project), BIM/Revit coordination, and advanced Excel skills., • Certifications such as PMP, LEED AP, NICET, or OSHA 30 are highly desirable., • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams., • Competitive Pay: $160k - $190k, • Lucrative Bonus, • Vehicle allowance, • 3 weeks of PTO, • Paid Holidays, • 401(k) w/ match, • Health Insurance, • Dental Insurance, • Vision Insurance, • Life Insurance - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
