Job Description: The AIC Regional Clinical Director is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all ambulatory infusion clinical operations within their assigned territory. This role ensures high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the effective management of clinical staff. When applicable, this role can also support direct patient care, E&M visits, collaboration with referring providers, and contributing to treatment planning. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence while maintaining a patient-centric approach. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license(s) in the applicable state(s) of practice required., • Bachelor of Nursing degree required., • Minimum of one (1) year of prior infusion clinic experience required., • Understands and implements effective nursing training and creates tools to measure competence., • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction., • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)., • Master's degree in Nursing preferred., • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP (AG-NP) preferred., • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing or directing registered nurses and/or advanced practice providers in an infusion clinic environment preferred., • Has an extensive knowledge of current vascular access devices and methods applicable to the services provided by BioMatrix., • Knowledge of accreditation standards for infusion nursing and the ability to gain and retain that accreditation., • The ability and flexibility to establish, license, and manage multistate nursing service centers, to include home, office, and ambulatory infusion., • Experience with contracting for infusion nursing services nationally, both in metropolitan and rural service areas., • Knowledge of nursing reimbursement and the ability to manage the reimbursement process. Clinical Leadership & Operations: • Oversee daily clinical operations across all assigned territory locations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards., • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize patient care and safety., • Lead, mentor, and train nursing staff, ensuring continuous professional development., • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency., • Collaborate with administrative teams to manage staffing schedules, resource allocation, and inventory control., • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations., • Participate in strategic planning for business growth, expansion, and service improvements., • Participation in monthly operations reviews to present current trends, staffing and training, • Lead Quality Assurance program, • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, clinical reviews and develop individualized treatment plans., • Administer and monitor infusion and injectable therapies with a focus on patient safety and efficacy., • Educate patients and families on treatment regimens, medication management, and condition monitoring., • Communicate and collaborate with referring providers to ensure coordinated care., • Respond to adverse reactions and implement emergency protocols as needed., • Conduct regular audits and quality assessments to identify areas for improvement., • Address and resolve patient concerns, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction., • Lead infection control initiatives and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols., • Keep abreast of industry trends, new infusion therapies, and regulatory changes., • Lead the Quality Assurance Program, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and continuous improvement initiatives., • Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of patient care and operational excellence., • Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing clinical staff., • Advanced knowledge of infusion therapies, medication management, and clinical best practices., • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities., • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals, staff, and patients., • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and data analysis for clinical performance tracking., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of care., • Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings., • Become and remain proficient is all programs necessary for execution.
