    Linde Welding Gas & Equipment Center is seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining an organized and efficient store environment, directly contributing to our operational success and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Assist customers with product inquiries, selections, and purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience., • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards throughout the store., • Receive, unload, and stock inventory, including welding gases and equipment, ensuring accurate placement and accessibility., • Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately and efficiently., • Support warehouse operations as needed, which may involve handling gas cylinders and various welding supplies., • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and guidelines, particularly concerning the handling and storage of gases and equipment. Qualifications: • Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is preferred., • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including gas cylinders, and stand for extended periods., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service., • Basic understanding of welding equipment and gases is a plus, but not required; training will be provided., • A commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
