We are seeking a hands-on, solution driven Senior HR Generalist to join our team! This role is primarily remote, with the expectation to meet in person one day per week to collaborate with leadership and support HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will provide proactive partnership across multiple clinic locations, focusing on employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices that foster a positive and productive workplace culture. Job Overview: The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for managing a broad range of human resources functions with a focus on employee lifecycle management, compliance, benefits administration, and reporting. This role serves as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers across multiple sites and states, ensuring processes are accurate, compliant, and efficient. The Senior HR Generalist also plays a key role in improving HR operations, advising managers on best practices, and supporting the overall employee experience. Must have multi-site and multi- state HR experience. Key Responsibilities: • Employee Lifecycle / People Cycle (40%), • Onboarding: Lead the new hire process including offer letters employment agreements, background checks., • Offboarding: Oversee separation processes including resignations, retirements, or terminations. Conduct exit interviews, ensure compliance, finalize pay/benefits, and manage system and asset recovery., • Employee Relations: Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, and HR processes., • Serve as the primary ER contact for multi-site leaders and employees; coach managers on fair, consistent application of policies., • Lead confidential investigations (intakes, interview plans, witness interviews, evidence review, findings, corrective action recommendations); maintain thorough, defensible documentation., • Guide performance management: expectations setting, documentation, PIPs/Coaching plans, and follow-through; advise on separations to ensure compliance and reduce risk., • Resolve workplace conflicts through mediation, facilitated conversations, and action plans that restore team effectiveness., • Partner with Legal/Compliance on complex ER matters (harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage/hour, safety) and escalate appropriately., • Track ER metrics (case type, cycle time, outcomes, reoccurrence) and surface trends; recommend policy/process updates and manager training., • Support ADA/medical accommodation interactive processes and coordinate with Leave/Benefits on LOA-related ER issues., • Develop and deliver manager trainings on documentation, feedback, investigations 101, and respectful workplace., • Compliance (30%), • Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and PTO/Sick Pay programs to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states., • Monitor evolving labor and wage regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, state leave laws, pay transparency, etc.) and proactively implement policy or procedural changes as needed., • Support investigations and reporting related to compliance issues, including federal/state agency inquiries (e.g., DOL, EEOC), • Manage annual compliance activities, including acknowledgment tracking, HRIS audits, and record retention in accordance with company and legal standards., • Benefits Administration (10%), • Oversee employee benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries., • Conduct audits and ensure data accuracy., • Educate employees and managers on benefit programs and resources., • Payroll (10%), • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing., • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and reporting standards., • Reporting & Data Management (10%), • Produce accurate HR reports, analytics, and metrics to support decision-making., • Lead data audits and ensure compliance with reporting requirements., • Oversea recommend improvements in reporting and HR systems.Qualifications:, • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required., • 6+ years of HR generalist or related HR experience, with experience supporting multi-site and multi-state HR operations required, • PHR or SHRM-CP certification required, • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, and employment compliance, and payroll., • Proven ability to advise managers and handle employee relations effectively., • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities., • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
