Summary/Primary Role: This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for geothermal and mechanical construction projects. This role analyzes drawings, specifications, and subsurface data to develop detailed pricing for ground source heat pump systems, piping, drilling coordination, and associated mechanical scopes. The estimator works closely with preconstruction, engineering, and operations teams to support successful project pursuit and execution. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: (Management may amend or assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time) • Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work., • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors related to mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping, in support of geothermal and energy infrastructure projects., • Coordinate pricing and scope alignment with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) contractors, specialty vendors, and suppliers., • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, and subcontractor audits as needed. This position does not have supervisory responsibility. Expected Hours of Work: An Employee is expected to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week. Position Overview The IT Manager reports directly to Canyon's VP of Art & Technology and leads all technology operations for the institution. As Canyon's first IT Manager, this individual will establish and manage all core IT infrastructure while working alongside specialized technical teams-including AV engineers in Exhibitions and conservation technicians in Canyon's conservation center-to ensure seamless integration across all technology systems. This includes ensuring that Canyon's infrastructure supports high-performance media art installations, live events, visitor services, retail operations, and back-office systems. The IT Manager will maintain a secure, scalable, and efficient network that underpins all digital and audiovisual systems across the organization. Working across the Exhibitions, Conservation, Facilities, and Operations divisions, the IT Manager will plan, implement, and maintain integrated AV/IT systems that bridge creative and administrative workflows.
