For over a decade, this team has delivered innovative solutions to customers across industries including office furniture, medical, gaming, service truck components, and food manufacturing. They are a small but fast-paced sheet metal manufacturing job shop known for their quality, creativity, and service. Position Overview:As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll be the hub that keeps the office running smoothly. You’ll manage communications, coordinate paperwork, and support the owner and team with daily priorities. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a skilled crew, learn about the manufacturing process, and be part of a company that values transparency, innovation, and growth. Responsibilities: • Greet and direct visitors, customers, and vendors in a friendly, professional manner., • Answer and route phone calls; monitor and organize email correspondence., • Perform data entry, manage quality calls, send email follow-ups, and prepare quotes., • Generate shipping documents and organize job-related paperwork for production and shipping., • Keep the owner and team organized and on track with priorities., • Proactively seek out accurate information from the right sources., • Process and track purchase orders, sales orders, and customer requests., • Order office supplies and manage inventory for administrative needs., • Utilize Microsoft 365 and Excel (proficiency required), and learn ERP software., • Support purchasing activities when needed, especially if familiar with manufacturing administration., • Track and follow up on office-related tasks and deadlines., • Other responsibilities, as assigned.Qualifications:, • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks., • Friendly, professional communication skills- in person, over the phone, and in writing., • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications., • Initiative and a problem-solving mindset., • Trustworthy, dependable, and self-motivated., • Previous manufacturing administration experience is a plus, but not required.Benefits:, • Opportunity for direct hire and long-term growth., • Flexible hours to support work-life balance: both full-time and part-time schedules available., • Health and other benefits available., • Competitive pay based on experience., • Work in a close-knit, family-oriented company that values your contributions.
