Job DescriptionRetail Shipping Sales Associate to help customers ship their items around the US or almost anywhere in the world. Need to be good with all different kinds of people, be able to type well on a computer to input their address details and we will teach you how to use our software system to determine the best option for each customer. We seek someone that has a positive attitude and isn't flustered under pressure. It is important that you can pay attention to details as there are specifics to shipping that are important to know and we need you to use your knowledge to help the customer and guide them toward the best option based on the things we will train you on. We will teach you how to pack and ship these items safely and securely for shipping with the common carriers: USPS, UPS, FEDEX, DHL and IPS. We are looking for someone that has reliable transportation and can possibly bounce between our 3 stores in Grand Rapids but ideally 2 specifically - our Cascade Store located on Cascade drive at the end of 28th St and the Northland Dr Store located on Northland Dr. just before the West River Bridge heading toward Rockford. We typically would not schedule you at more than one per day because we like to keep each person at one store as much as possible so this one would favor the Cascade store but occasionally have opportunities for the other stores. We ideally would like part time approx 20 hours a week although that could grow to more depending on how things go moving forward.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate order processing and timely product delivery, supporting our mission to maintain excellence in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, picking, inspecting, packaging, and preparing materials for shipment—such as fasteners, caulk, and related accessories—while maintaining high safety and quality standards in a dynamic production/warehouse environment.
