Job Description Integrative Health Lead Location: Boulder, Colorado Schedule: Full-Time Reports To: BHG Lead Classification: Provider + Clinic Operations Leadership Position Summary The Integrative Health Lead is responsible for providing direct patient care while leading clinic operations, stabilizing systems, improving patient flow, and ensuring a high-quality, patient-centered experience. This role combines clinical provider duties with operational oversight, culture leadership, and participation in developing the future Beyond Health membership and experience model. This position replaces and consolidates prior responsibilities held by the Clinic Lead and Office Manager roles. Key Responsibilities1. Clinical Care (Approximately 60% of Role) • Provide high-quality integrative patient care as a licensed NP, PA, MD/DO, or equivalent., • Conduct new patient visits, follow-up appointments, and treatment plans aligned with clinic standards., • Ensure appropriate documentation, coding, and charge capture in the EMR., • Maintain clinical quality, safety, and compliance with Colorado regulations., • Support the transition to a simplified, evidence-aligned service model consistent with the Beyond Health strategy.2. Clinic Operations Leadership (Approximately 40% of Role), • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, including patient flow, scheduling efficiency, and same-day collections., • Lead the administrative and clinical support staff; set expectations, give feedback, and uphold accountability., • Ensure timely and accurate cash collection, charge capture, and coordination with the BHG RCM lead., • Implement operational processes, policies, and checklists to stabilize daily operations., • Drive a culture of professionalism, reliability, and patient-centered communication., • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of front-desk and support personnel., • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate facility-specific needs.3. Inventory, Supplies, and Process Simplification, • Simplify and manage inventory, supply ordering, and stock levels with a focus on clinic legitimacy, not retail supplement volume., • Reduce complexity, eliminate unnecessary SKUs, and maintain appropriate levels for medical supplies and approved supplements., • Ensure all inventory processes follow compliance, financial controls, and standardized protocols., • Collaborate with leadership to transition away from pharmacy-oriented practices that compromise operational clarity.4. Culture, Team, and Patient Experience Leadership, • Model and uphold a clinic culture based on humility, accountability, teamwork, and professional excellence., • Address cultural drift, drama, or unproductive behavior immediately and directly., • Lead weekly team meetings, set agendas, track follow-ups, and maintain clear communication lines., • Maintain a warm, efficient, high-touch patient experience across all interactions., • Handle patient concerns, escalations, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.5. Collaboration, Reporting, and Future Model Development, • Work collaboratively with Walter Wilson and the broader leadership team on operational priorities., • Provide input on the development and testing of the Beyond Health membership model, patient experience flow, and service offerings., • Share data, insights, and operational feedback to support continuous improvement., • Execute short-term and long-term operational priorities as part of the broader WHO Architecture strategy.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), • Patient visit volume and satisfaction metrics, • Appointment utilization and schedule efficiency, • Same-day cash collections and reduced leakage, • Inventory accuracy and reduced waste/supplement dependency, • Staff reliability, retention, and adherence to protocols, • Reduction in operational errors, complaint incidents, and workflow inconsistency, • Achievement of 30/60/90-day stabilization goalsRequired Qualifications, • Licensed NP, PA, MD/DO, or equivalent provider credential in Colorado (or ability to obtain licensure)., • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in integrative, functional, or primary care settings., • Demonstrated experience in clinic operations, team leadership, or frontline healthcare management., • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to manage both provider duties and operational responsibilities simultaneously., • Comfort with EMR systems and modern care delivery workflows., • High emotional intelligence and a low-ego, team-first approach.Preferred Qualifications, • Experience leading or stabilizing a clinic or care team., • Familiarity with integrative medicine, functional medicine, regenerative medicine, or preventive care., • Prior experience in operational turnaround or process improvement., • Understanding of membership-based or subscription-based care models.Personal Attributes, • Hungry, humble, and smart (Above the Line behaviors), • Professional, reliable, and accountable, • Calm under pressure and able to lead in dynamic environments, • Systems-oriented, organized, and detail-focused, • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, • Values-driven and aligned with high-touch patient care, • Comfortable navigating both clinical and operational leadershipCompensation, • Base salary aligned with Boulder market norms (lower base model with productivity incentives)., • Commission or productivity incentive tied to patient visits, follow-up efficiency, and quality-of-care metrics., • Leadership stipend available based on operational performance and defined KPIs., • Benefits package consistent with company policy (health, PTO, retirement plan eligibility).Work Environment & Physical Requirements, • Clinical setting with direct patient interaction., • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods., • Ability to safely perform clinical procedures as required by role.
