Job Description Job Description Position Overview PACE Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Audio Visual (AV) Coordinator to support project execution at a client site in Chicago. This role is ideal for someone with AV industry exposure who prefers coordination, scheduling, and client communication over heavy hands-on technical work. The AV Coordinator will partner closely with project managers, engineers, field technicians, and the end client to ensure projects remain organized, documented, and progressing smoothly from kickoff through closeout. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate AV project schedules, site visits, and technician assignments, • Serve as a primary liaison between the client and internal AV teams, • Track project milestones, deliverables, and required documentation, • Support procurement by assisting with equipment orders and material tracking, • Maintain project files, drawings, and change logs, • Assist with meeting coordination and Teams/video conference logistics, • Monitor project status and proactively flag risks or delays, • Support light technical review of AV drawings and scope (not hands-on install), • Collaborate with drafting and engineering teams on updates and revisions, • Provide general administrative and operational support to the AV department Required Qualifications • 1–3 years of experience in AV, low voltage, construction coordination, or similar, • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Professional, client-facing demeanor Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to AV systems, signal flow, or AV project environments, • Experience in project coordination, dispatch, or service coordination, • Familiarity with AutoCAD or construction drawings (basic understanding), • CTS or related AVIXA exposure is a plus but not required, • Experience working for an AV integrator or low-voltage contractor Note: This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications for the Audio Visual (AV) Coordinator position.
