Job Description Project & Construction Engineer — Industrial A rapidly growing high-technology organization in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley is seeking an experienced Project & Construction Engineer to lead engineering, project execution, and construction management activities for industrial compressed-air utility systems. This role plays a key part in delivering safe, reliable, and cost-efficient engineered systems from design through commissioning and startup. Position Overview The Project & Construction Engineer is responsible for managing all phases of project delivery — including team leadership, safety, cost control, scheduling, contractor oversight, and customer engagement. This position also supports ongoing plant operations and ensures compliance with established engineering work practices. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, works effectively with cross-functional teams, and consistently delivers projects on time, on budget, and to performance expectations. Key Responsibilities • Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and inputs for proposals and estimates., • Create, manage, and report on project schedules from kickoff through plant startup, including critical-path analysis and schedule recovery planning., • Lead multidisciplinary project teams including engineering resources, contractors, suppliers, and customer stakeholders., • Establish project controls, forecast costs, negotiate with vendors, and manage claims and change activity., • Develop construction execution plans, contracting strategies, logistics coordination, lift plans, and contractor selection., • Support on-site construction, commissioning, and startup activities., • Serve as primary customer interface and lead project review meetings., • Provide support for electrical engineering activities as needed., • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (PMP a plus)., • Minimum 10+ years of industrial project engineering experience, including construction, startup, and commissioning oversight., • Strong communication and customer-facing skills., • Proficiency with MS Project and project scheduling/reporting., • Experience managing construction safety programs., • Competitive salary and performance-driven environment, • 401(k) with employer contribution, • Medical, dental, and vision benefits, • Paid time off and holidays Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. 1001 Conshohocken State Rd, Ste 2-410 West Conshohocken, PA 19428 Company DescriptionLibertyjobs.com has become an essential destination site for experienced job seekers.
