Job Description About the Role The Test Technician is responsible for performing electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical testing on systems, subassemblies, and components to ensure products function according to specifications. This system is based on-board the Pacific Tracker currently berthed in Portland, OR. Basic duties include installation, testing, and demonstration of integration systems., • Provide verbal and written progress reports to the installation leader/project manager., • Perform administrative duties in a timely manner including checklists, Siebel entry, expense reporting, time entry, and others as required., • High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of recent installation of cable/audio visual/electronics experience or Associate's degree in Electronics or similar degree, plus 1+ year(s) of related experience., • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills., • Excellent knowledge of personal computers, video technology, video cabling, networking., • Excellent interpersonal and Customer communication skills (verbal and written)., • Proficiency in computers and Windows software., • Flexibility to handle multiple and changing priorities., • Ability to work flexible hours, sometimes outside “normal business hours” and travel extensively to support business needs., • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Preferred: • Project management experience. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
