Job Description Job Title: Cabinet Assembler – Manufacturing (Not Field-Based) Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor Shift: 1st and 2nd Department: Assembly Location: Minneapolis, MN (On-site Manufacturing Facility) Position Overview The Cabinet Assembler is a production-based manufacturing role focused on assembling retail store fixtures and display components in a controlled factory environment. This position is best suited for individuals with experience in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial production, rather than residential or field carpentry. This role involves repetitive, standardized assembly work using production equipment, hand tools, and jigs to meet daily output, quality, and safety expectations. All work is performed indoors at a fixed location—this is not a jobsite, construction, or custom-installation role. Key Responsibilities • Operate stationary woodworking and production equipment (power saws, jointers, planers, shapers) to cut and prepare components for assembly, • Assemble cabinet and display components using predefined work instructions, fixtures, and quality standards, • Drill, glue, fasten, and clamp components to form finished subassemblies and units, • Install standardized hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer systems, • Sand and prepare components for downstream finishing processes, • Maintain consistent production pace and quality metrics, • Follow all manufacturing safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace policies This role is: • Production-focused and repetitive by design, • Performed in a manufacturing facility, • Driven by schedules, quality standards, and efficiency, • Residential or commercial field carpentry, • Custom, one-off woodworking or finish carpentry, • Jobsite-based, customer-facing, or installation work, • Proven ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with precision and consistency, • Strong attention to detail and quality standards, • Ability to follow written and visual work instructions, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, • Dependable work ethic and positive team attitude, • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance, • Flexibility to work across multiple PD manufacturing locations as needed, • High school diploma or equivalent, • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial assembly, • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift, • Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods, • Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing setting with noise, dust, and production equipmentCompany DescriptionLabor Solutions, LLC is a leader in the professional, temporary, and direct hire industry throughout the Midwest area.
