    Funzy is a safe, relaxing, design-forward family entertainment space built around play-to-learn experiences. As the company prepares for expansion, this role will lead the development of its in-house marketing function and drive brand growth across stores and digital channels. This is a strategic, hands-on position reporting directly to the CEO and Founder. You will initially operate as an individual contributor while building the internal marketing team over time. You will connect company leadership, store operations, agencies, vendors, and local partners to deliver effective campaigns that increase store traffic, birthday party bookings, and membership growth. Key responsibilities • Develop and execute the annual and quarterly marketing strategy, calendars, budgets, workflows, and KPIs., • Build and lead the in-house marketing team as the function grows., • Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, PR partners, and print suppliers., • Own Funzy’s official social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu/RED, Facebook, and YouTube., • Produce engaging photo, graphic, and short-form video content for digital campaigns., • Travel periodically to corporate-owned, franchised, and licensed stores to capture content and support local marketing activities., • Plan brand campaigns, seasonal activations, influencer partnerships, and local community events., • Create marketing toolkits, brand guidelines, promotional playbooks, and localized campaign templates for stores., • Support new store launches, account development, pre-sales campaigns, and local marketing execution., • Oversee local SEO, email and SMS marketing through Klaviyo, and paid advertising across Meta, Google, Xiaohongshu/RED, and TikTok., • Optimize the Funzy website, customer journeys, user experience, and conversion funnels., • Develop customer acquisition, retention, loyalty, and re-engagement strategies for the membership program., • Track metrics including customer acquisition cost, foot traffic, party bookings, return on ad spend, customer lifetime value, churn, and membership renewals., • Present regular performance dashboards and recommendations to executive leadership. Qualifications • 4–6 or more years of progressive marketing experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership or team-management role., • Strong retail marketing experience; experience in family entertainment, children’s services, or youth and parenting industries is preferred., • Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese., • Willingness to travel periodically to store locations., • Demonstrated experience working with creators, family and lifestyle influencers, and local KOLs/KOCs., • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and strategic execution skills., • A product-management mindset and strong visual and design sensibility., • Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and CMS platforms., • Familiarity with advertising policies, content guidelines, restricted terms, and brand-safety requirements across major platforms., • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/ Objective East Side House (ESH) provides high-quality, year-round programming in NYCHA community centers and public schools, serving youth and families through education, workforce readiness, recreation, and community engagement. Reporting to the Senior and/or Department Director, the Program Director oversees the development, implementation, and supervision of Early Childhood Education & Elementary Division. This includes daily operations, staff management, compliance, and creating safe, inclusive, and responsive environments that promote positive outcomes. As a member of the Early Childhood Education & Elementary Division, the Program Director is expected to lead dynamic, age-appropriate programming for Elementary age participants and community members. This role includes direct supervision of the Assistant Program Director, Group Leaders, Activity Specialist, and other frontline staff. It requires regular collaboration with Human Resources, Finance, IT, and other East Side House departments. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Senior Director and /or Department Director, the Program Director will: • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of youth and adult programs, including evenings, weekends, and summer., • Recruit, hire, schedule, onboard, and supervise full-time and part-time staff., • Monitor performance and ensure compliance with DYCD goals, quality standards, and contractual requirements., • Conduct staff evaluations, provide ongoing coaching, and lead monthly professional development and team meetings., • Oversee the design and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate programming focused on academics, recreation, workforce readiness, and cultural enrichment., • Ensure compliance with DOH School-Aged Child Care and Summer Day regulations, including quarterly inspections., • Train staff on safety protocols and ensure emergency preparedness., • Track attendance and maintain accurate records using DYCD Connect and internal systems., • Manage CACFP Food Program compliance and documentation., • Serve as the main point of contact for NYCHA, DYCD, schools, families, and community partners., • Build relationships with residents, tenant associations, youth councils, and community stakeholders., • Conduct quarterly community assessments and incorporate participant feedback into program planning., • Plan and execute four community events and a series of family workshops annually., • Cultivate at least three new partnerships each year to expand program offerings., • Manage the program budget, process purchase orders, and submit reports on time., • Represent the program in required meetings and maintain regular communication with NYCHA and DYCD., • Collaborate with ESH colleagues to coordinate events, share best practices, and support agency-wide initiatives., • Perform other duties as assigned.
