Job DescriptionCommercial HVAC Field Installation Superintendent When your crew rolls onto a St. Louis metro jobsite at 7:00 AM, you already have the day mapped out. You’ve walked the plan set, aligned manpower, staged materials, and lined up a safe lift for those rooftop units. You’re the point person who keeps the work moving, solves what pops up in the field, and delivers a clean, code-compliant installation on schedule. This is not a technician position. This is a leadership role for someone who orchestrates work, directs crews, and owns the outcome. About the Role We’re a well-established HVAC contractor in the St. Louis metro area growing our installation team. We need a hands-on leader trusted to run jobs from kickoff to closeout—someone who thrives in the field, manages labor and material flow, and ensures commercial and industrial HVAC systems are installed right the first time. Systems and Projects You’ll Orchestrate • Commercial and industrial HVAC installations, • Rooftop units across a range of capacities, • Large rooftop package systems, • Hydronic and boiler systems, • VRF systems, • Ductless systems, • Specialized air distribution systemsWhat Your Day Looks Like, • Lead and supervise commercial and industrial HVAC installation crews, • Plan job execution, manpower allocation, and material flow, • Interpret drawings, specifications, and installation requirements, • Ensure installations meet safety standards, codes, and project specifications, • Troubleshoot complex installation challenges and make on-site decisions, • Maintain jobsite organization, productivity, and quality control, • Coordinate with project management and other trades, • Train and mentor installers to improve efficiency and workmanshipWhat You Bring, • 7+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC installation experience, • Proven experience running work as an Installation Foreman or Lead, • Strong knowledge of large-scale HVAC systems and installation practices, • Ability to read plans, manage scope, and drive schedules, • Leadership mindset with clear communication skills, • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, • Class E license or ability to obtain one, • Willingness to relocate prior to start, if not already localSchedule, • Typical start time: 7:00 AM, • Typical end time: 4:00–6:00 PM, • Year-round commercial and industrial installation work, • On-site, field-based roleCompensation & Benefits, • Pay: $33.00 – $50.00 per hour (based on experience and leadership level), • Company truck, • Fuel card, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Life insurance, • Paid time off
