Responsibilities: • Overseeing daily operations of the Acute Rehab Unit, ensuring that all policies, procedures, and standards of care are adhered to., • Coordinating and directing patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing and evaluating patient care delivery., • Supervising, mentoring, and evaluating nursing staff, promoting continuous learning, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment., • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care., • Ensuring the Acute Rehab Unit is in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards., • Participating in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency., • Addressing and resolving any patient concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner., • Participating in staff scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operation of the unit., • Must possess a current and valid RN license., • Proven experience in a supervisory, charge nurse, or leadership role within a healthcare setting., • Exceptional clinical skills with the ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members., • Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a diverse team., • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements., • Ability to effectively manage resources and budgets., • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development., • BLS required.
