Job DescriptionJob Title: HVAC Installer Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Job Type: Contract to Hire Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 AM–2:30 PM (occasional Fridays) Work Environment: Non-climate-controlled garage with a 30-minute lunch break Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and delivering high-quality work. You will be responsible for installing air conditioning systems according to established standards and timelines, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Install air conditioning components including evaporators, condensers, compressors, mount kits, ductwork, and connecting systems based on customer specifications, • Prepare and organize necessary tools, parts, and materials for each assignment, • Ensure all installations meet quality, safety, and cost standards while adhering to customer schedules, • Inspect completed work and resolve any issues to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications, • Charge air conditioning systems as required, • Execute special projects such as retrofits, remodels, replacements, and after-sales service, • Perform preventive maintenance and follow manufacturer guidelines to maintain equipment, • Adhere to all safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment and maintaining a clean work area, • Report challenges that may impact project completion or customer satisfaction, • Support team development through training and knowledge sharing, • Complete required documentation and reports accurately, • Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and customers, • Participate in quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives, • Perform additional duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience, • Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly line work or mechanical assembly, • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, • Proficient with hand, power, and pneumatic tools, • Experience in automotive repair and parts assembly, • Basic proficiency with Microsoft and Google applications, • Strong problem-solving abilities, • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently, • Capable of lifting 30–50 pounds and standing for extended periods (10+ hours), • Willingness to travel and work overtime or weekends as neededPreferred Qualifications, • Experience in automotive environments, • Prior experience with air conditioning installationBenefits, • Comprehensive benefits package at a low cost, • Annual merit-based raises, • 10 vacation days in the first year, • Holiday pay, • Commitment to employee development and continuous improvement Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
