A key player in international Haute Parfumerie and focusing on 100% Made In France production, our House is now committed to anchoring its position by consolidating its assortment and its image through strong concepts and an assertive artistic line, available in collections of exceptional fragrances and perfumed derivatives. In order to support the growth of the INITIO PARFUMS PRIVES brand, we are looking for an NPD Manager based in Paris, within the operational headquarters. About the role Reporting to the Product Development department, you are responsible for the overall management of product developments for the INITIO PARFUMS PRIVES brand – from technical pre-feasibility to market launch – while contributing to the structuring and optimization of the development process within the organization. Both strategic and operational, you will be involved in a cross-functional manner on: • Direct management of innovation and continuous improvement projects,, • The implementation of management tools and methodologies for performance,, • The fluidity of interfaces between departments (Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Purchasing, Supply,...) and with our external partners. Key Responsibilities: Management and coordination of product development projects • Ensure the management of product developments as part of the NPD process already initiated, to be deployed and optimized, while directly managing a portfolio of projects (formulation, packaging, industrialization) from brief to launch, • Ensure the technical and industrial pre-feasibility of product concepts in conjunction with the Marketing and Operations teams, • Establish and monitor development schedules, ensure compliance with milestones, coordinate internal validations and alert feedback, • Manage project budgets and costs in collaboration with Purchasing, while ensuring the optimization of resources, • Identify risks and abuses, anticipate blockages and propose alternative solutions, • Lead project reviews and ensure clear reporting to decision-making bodies, • Guarantee the technical, regulatory and quality consistency of developments until market launch Expertise technique – Packaging & formulation • To provide recognized technical expertise in the fields of packaging and formulation, by supporting the teams in their design, material and process choices, • Ensuring consistency between innovation, industrial feasibility and cost constraints, • Supervise formula-pack compatibility testing and follow-up of pilot tests as well as pre-series, • Contribute to the search for innovative and sustainable solutions (eco-design, alternative materials, process optimization, etc.), • Ensure a technological and regulatory watch on market trends, raw materials and technical innovations Structuring and continuous improvement of development processes • Implement and maintain monitoring and reporting tools (types of projects, progress, performance, management indicators, etc.), • Streamline and standardize development processes in coordination with internal stakeholders, • Identify organizational friction points and propose pragmatic improvement plans, • Formalize and deploy NPD standards (brief, milestones, risk matrices, reporting), • Contribute to the change management and maturity of the Product Development department on project management Functional management and cross-functional animation • Coordinate and support the Product Development Project Managers in their daily missions, • Facilitate cross-functional communication and enhance synergies within the teams, • Lead coordination bodies and project reviews, • Contribute to a culture of excellence and collaboration within the Group Desired Education and Experience: • Higher education BAC+5 type Engineer (chemistry, packaging, process engineering or scientific equivalent), • Minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in product development, supply chain or cross-functional project management, preferably acquired in the cosmetics/perfumes sector or in an industry with similar industrial and technical constraints, • Expertise in NPD project management and technical coordination (structuring, steering, reporting, continuous improvement), • Solid technical skills in packaging (feasibility, industrialization); Knowledge of the wording would be a plus, • Strong technical appetite and ability to challenge business solutions, • Mastery of project management tools and collaborative work platforms (advanced Excel, Sharepoint, ERP/PLM, etc.), • Fluent in English (oral and written), • You are recognized for your rigor, your organization, your analytical and synthesis skills, your sense of the field, your transversal leadership, your unifying spirit and your interpersonal skills, • Proactive, agile and solution-oriented, you know how to manage several complex projects in parallel while structuring tools and processes to serve collective performance.
