Salaried GP (Newly Qualified) – ARRS Funded Location: Bolton Contract: Now – March 2026 Systems: Emis Web & SystmOne (site dependent) Clinical Template: 25 patient contacts, 40 mins admin, 1 home visit (flexible based on preference) Job Summary Our established is seeking a Newly Qualified GP (within 2 years of CCT) to join its collaborative, high-performing network of practices. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a developing GP to gain broad clinical exposure, strong support, and long-term stability through ARRS funding. You will deliver a range of duties outlined in the GMS contract, including consultations, clinical administration, prescribing responsibilities, and continuity of care across PCN sites. Main Responsibilities • Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations for a wide range of clinical presentations., • Undertake home visits and nursing home reviews as required., • Manage repeat prescriptions, medication queries, and relevant clinical documentation., • Screen patients for risk factors, early signs of illness, and chronic disease indicators., • Lead on clinical decision-making for undifferentiated and complex cases., • Request, interpret and action diagnostic tests, ensuring appropriate follow-up., • Make timely referrals to secondary care or other healthcare providers., • Develop personalised care and treatment plans in line with NICE and local guidance., • Maintain accurate, high-standard clinical notes using EMIS or SystmOne., • Take part in clinical audits, learning events, and practice meetings to support continuous improvement., • Prescribe safely and appropriately, following formulary and BNF guidance., • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team and wider Federation staff., • Contribute to the achievement of PCN and Federation performance indicators and service priorities. About You • Newly qualified GP within 2 years of CCT., • Confident in managing a broad primary care caseload., • Able to work flexibly across PCN sites using EMIS and/or SystmOne., • Strong communicator with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care., • Motivated to contribute to service improvement and local primary care development.
